Mark Throne

in 1975 co-founded Fingerprints -  a Minneapolis band at the forefront of the Indie

Rock Movement.  Singer, composer, and a variety of instruments ...recorded for Twintone Records in the late 70's and early 80's... at which time he has had the pleasure of

performing  shows with Blondie,Mitch Ryder,  Prince, Grace Jones,  the B-52's, Peter

Hammill, David Crosby, from Crosby Stills Nash and Young.  Headlined at First Avenue

Night Club Minneapolis, Walker Art Center Minneapolis,  the Fine Line Music Cafe Minneapolis , and was

a regular headliner at the now infamous Longhorn Bar in Minneapolis.  Also played the St. Paul

 Civic Center Theater, and the Cabooze Bar in Minneapolis.  Mark has had the honor and privilege of playing

with various artist including all the members of

Fingerprints, the alway's on time dave zilka, the Suicide Commandos, the famous Wayne Hasti,, the

Replacements, Suburbs, Wallets, Frontporch Swinging Liquor Pigs, Safety Last, Robb

Henry (Parisota Hot Club) , The Ben Day Dots, brothers Todd and Steve Throne, Robert Ivers and Icestars,

Curtis A, Slim Dunlap, and many others.

in 2007."Fingerprints" and another band Mark co started, "the Ben Day Dots" were mentioned in the paperback

book "Music Legends of Minnesota"  with Bob Dylan and the Replacements on the cover, written by Martin

Kellor.  An artical by Stephon Hammond from the U of M newspaper called Mark, "simply the best singer in

Minneapolis" this time....
